Experienced Data Entry Specialist for Clinical Research Trials – Remote Opportunity with blithequark

To achieve this goal, blithequark is seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join its team. This is a full-remote opportunity, available to candidates based in the United States. Job Overview The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of patient records and clinical trial data. This position will involve working with computerized and paper patient records, as well as clinical trial data, to ensure that all information is updated in a timely manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all data entry functions related to blithequark's clinical research trials, including electronic data capture (EDC) completion, source data verification, and query resolution. Key Responsibilities Review and process research charts for accuracy and completeness Complete electronic data capture (EDC) and perform quality control checks Gather data from multiple source documents and enter into electronic database systems Address data queries and make data-related corrections as needed Conduct safety calls with patients currently enrolled in a study Escort patients to and from exam rooms, ensuring they are attended to and in the right place at the right time Work with other team members to meet data entry and cleaning timelines Become familiar with current International Conference of Harmonization Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) best practices and guidelines Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
