Key Responsibilities
The Data Entry Specialist will be accountable for a range of tasks, including:
Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions task, and processing/reconciling returns activity
Conducting analysis of complex/escalated issues and performing testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
Interacting with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Duties Analysis
The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for:
Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests
Client/Advisor amount exceptions
Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
The successful candidate will be able to:
Identify and resolve internal/external system issues or concerns
Determine the root cause of breaks between arenaflex, the Fund, and other external partners
Provide method or technology solution alternatives to Management
Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Counterparty Firm, Client, or Business Partner
Respond to business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility
Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the client request or remediate not neat issues
Promptly and correctly complete client investing and dividend requests
