About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team at arenaflex. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering patient and prescription information into our pharmacy management system, ensuring that all data is correctly recorded and maintained. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and providing excellent patient care. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter patient and prescription information into the pharmacy management system, ensuring that all data is correctly recorded and maintained. Verify and update patient records as needed, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate. Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, ensuring that all medications are handled and dispensed safely and efficiently. Ensure all data entry tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting deadlines and productivity standards. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. Collaborate with other pharmacy team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations, providing excellent customer service and supporting the team as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and needs. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred. Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and patient care principles. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with pharmacy management software and electronic health records. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy technician certification or registration, with a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Experience with pharmacy management software and electronic health records, with a strong understanding of data management and analysis principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
