Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry Credentialing Specialist, your specific duties will include: Entering and updating provider credentialing information in the system with accuracy and attention to detail. Verifying licensure, certifications, education, and work history for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. Tracking credentialing and re-credentialing deadlines, ensuring timely submission of documents and minimizing delays. Communicating with providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain required documentation, building strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent required ; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus on healthcare administration, business, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or data entry preferred , with a strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards and regulations. Familiarity with credentialing databases and healthcare compliance standards , including knowledge of federal, state, and organizational regulations.
