We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Coordinator to join our team, working remotely on a full-time basis. As a Data Entry Coordinator with arenaflex, you will play a vital role in managing the intake process for workers compensation utilization reviews, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of client issues, and maintaining effective communication with clients and their staff. Key Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including: Managing daily interactions with clients and their staff, providing exceptional customer service and support. Resolving client issues in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. Receiving and processing referrals from providers and adjusters, including prospective, retrospective, concurrent, reconsiderations, and appeals, via fax, email, or other channels. Entering referrals into proprietary software and following through on the review process until completion. Obtaining authorization from adjusters to proceed with reviews when required, ensuring compliance with protocols and state guidelines. Assigning utilization review requests to physician reviewers based on established protocols and state guidelines. Maintaining accurate and detailed logs, as required. Responding to telephone and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner, paying close attention to detail and ensuring high levels of accuracy. Participating in periodic, random quality assurance reviews of work for accuracy and adherence to protocol and best practices. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 3 years of experience in utilization review in workers compensation, with a deep understanding of the process and relevant regulations. 2 years of experience in medical terminology, with the ability to accurately interpret and apply medical concepts and terminology. 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and other stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. Knowledge of proprietary software used in utilization review, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Certification in utilization review or a related field, such as certified professional in utilization review (CPUR) or certified case manager (CCM).
