Key Responsibilities As a Data Entry and New Idea Sharing Specialist, your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring that overall data management concerns are addressed in the arrangement, including data acquisition, data organization, data governance, data quality, data distribution, data storage, and retention, data security, data integration, reference and master data management, analytics, and metadata management. Aligning data and information models to enterprise, solution, and technical architectures at the portfolio and solution train levels. Leading the identification of reusable data services to accelerate the delivery of significant value and eliminate data replication. Collaborating with design DBAs and solution engineers to provide guidance on proper designs and changes to implemented data structures. Providing applied and detailed design of data structures for data at rest (databases) and data in motion (API interfaces, messages). Establishing and accurately documenting data lineage in the context of solution architecture, data analysis, and arenaflex's three-level architecture (External Edge, Inner Edge, Strong Core). Collaborating with data analysis organizations (EDA and DataWorks) and business areas to leverage data lakes to gain insights into operational efficiencies. Defining architectural patterns and stage guidelines to ingest and operationalize data scientific capabilities. Collaborating with physical design database administrators to implement and enforce stage guidelines. Supporting the affected application engineers and coordinated release trains during implementation. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 5 years of comparable work experience in information technology or an engineering environment. A related postgraduate degree may offset the related experience requirement. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience across all phases of data modeling, from conceptualization to database optimization. In-depth knowledge of data integration concepts, approaches, and tools to implement data integration methodology effectively. Data virtualization, analysis, and integration techniques. Applied data modeling techniques. Data performance optimization and modeling. Experience with implementing architectural standards and design patterns. Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and data services. Experience with business and enterprise architecture frameworks like BIZBOK and TOGAF. Experience with end-to-end solution architecture for data capabilities, including data lakes, shared aspects, and logical designs. Familiarity with best practices for supporting data lakes, shared aspects, and logical designs. Experience with real-time and batch data ingestion. Demonstrated expertise in working in large environments like RDBMS, EDW, NoSQL, etc. Working knowledge of data modeling tools (preferably Sparx, ER/Studio). Hands-on experience with various data technologies, including Oracle, Data Stax/Cassandra, Redis, Kafka (at least 3 years).
