About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Entry and Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Single Copy Sales (SCS) Allocation Support team, you will play a vital role in supporting the distribution and billing of WSJ/Barron's to Discount, Retail, and Convenience accounts. This position involves inbound and outbound customer service interactions, follow-up, and performing determined tasks connected with the office's activities with minimal management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle account creation and management for various print offices
Direct record supply management and brings section back
Manage inbound and outbound customer interactions through email and telephone
Assist customers with questions regarding supply, returns, and research connected with billing inquiries
Work with Sales and Production administrators to support print focus dispatch and routing plans changes
Assist with all aspects of the customer invoice process, requiring intense attention to detail and the ability to meet strict time targets
Develop a working understanding of the Lattice Single Copy System and other course and business systems
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Years of general office experience and prior customer service experience
Solid written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
MS Word and Excel skills (ability to maintain complex accounting spreadsheets)
The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize a varying daily workload
Willingness to work 9:00 to 5:00 pm and be adaptable to ensure coverage
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with data entry and customer support software
Knowledge of the publishing or media industry
