Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to pet-parent clients and handling data entry tasks with precision and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Connect directly with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve customer issues, and clarify order requests Analyze and troubleshoot issues to determine appropriate solutions for customers and center partners, and follow up on a case-by-case basis to resolve issues Complete data entry of prescriptions into arenaflex healthcare software Maintain a high level of quality through data entry and order processing of veterinary pharmacy orders Work with empathy, undivided attention, patience, compassion, and kindness to customers and partners alike Communicate with veterinary facilities via phone (and occasionally other stations on a case-by-case basis) with various topics, primarily using our internal program and systems to navigate arrangements and record center note accounts Expect a significant part of the typical business day to be outbound veterinary center/client phone contacts Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: 2 years of experience working in a customer or healthcare-focused environment Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) Ability to multitask (e.g., chat on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes) Work with ownership, be a self-starter, and demonstrate attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook High school education or equivalent Must be able to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy where applicable Critical thinking skills Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to change according to the business needs of the organization Flexibility to adjust schedule and stay at work longer than required as needed by the specialty unit Must demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information Must be able to pass a background check Essential Skills and Competencies: In addition to the qualifications and requirements listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to change and navigate complex systems and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
