Job Overview The Data Engineering team at arenaflex is responsible for partnering with various stakeholders, including Decision Science Products, Decision Science, Client, and Technology colleagues, on multiple development and sustainment projects, ad-hoc requests, prototyping, and research initiatives. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing data pipeline and database engineering services to support the organization's Media business. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain data acquisition processes, data validation processes, ETL/ELT data pipelines, and overall process alerting strategies Gather data requirements, create source-to-target mappings, develop data validation scripts, and review data quality Design, develop, and monitor ETL/ELT data pipelines, create and execute database schema/tables/views, and deliver datasets as input to science models and representations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions to meet business needs Utilize various technologies, including SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL), Python, Docker, Gitlab, and Windstream, to deliver high-quality results Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance Proven expertise and proficiency in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake) Experience with developing in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices for code management/development Experience creating and maintaining automated job schedulers Solid understanding of relational database design and functionality Preferred Qualifications Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, ideally AWS Experience managing and deploying code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub Experience using Docker Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
