Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Ring Data Warehouse team, where you will play a critical role in building and maintaining efficient, scalable, and secure data pipelines to support our business partners. As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will work intimately with software development engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders across various verticals to design, develop, and implement data solutions that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze requirements from business partners across verticals such as Memberships, Sales, Invert Strategies, Finance, Product, and more. Build new data ingestions using a combination of Local AWS services as well as internal arenaflex tools and technologies. Maintain and improve existing data ingestions, ensuring they meet evolving standards and corporate directives. Design and develop structures or tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data. Perform code audits and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams. About the Team The Ring Data Warehouse team at arenaflex is responsible for managing the integrated data repository for Ring, acquiring and distributing data from various internal and external sources. These data sources are utilized by multiple stakeholders, including Ring Product Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales. We are open to hiring candidates from various locations, including Hawthorne, CA, USA. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of data engineering experience. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Experience with SQL. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions. Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS. Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, file or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases). Compensation, Perks, and Benefits Our compensation package is competitive and reflects the cost of living across various US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $105,700/year in our lowest geographic market to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market.
