Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Center Operations Technician IV to join our team, responsible for ensuring the security, operation, and high availability of our data center environment. As a key member of our team, you will own the responsibility of all IT infrastructure, including customer configurations, and maintain 99.999% uptime. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Center Operations Technician IV, your key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring and prioritizing an internal ticketing system to provide customer support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
Providing basic operating system storage troubleshooting, along with storage upgrades, hardware troubleshooting, and RAID configuration changes
Providing hardware support and upgrades for servers running Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Server, Ubuntu Linux, or VMWare ESX Server
Performing simple operating system administration tasks, including setting up OS network IP's, fresh OS installs (using PXE), firmware updates, and basic OS troubleshooting
Installing or removing fiber or copper cabling, and performing Layer 1 network skills, including testing and troubleshooting connectivity issues with previously deployed copper or fiber cabling
Installing network device hardware, including switches, firewalls, load-balancers, and security appliances
Installing hardware on storage devices, including DAS and NAS arrays
Completing customer maintenance requests, including hardware modification, operating system installation, mounting devices within cabinets, and completing all cabling needs


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

To be a US Citizen and willing to undergo a Federal Background Investigation
A minimum of 8 years of experience working in a data center environment or equivalent technology background
A minimum of 6 years of experience building, repairing, or upgrading hardware components
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented position (preferred)
A High School Diploma or equivalent
A strong understanding of storage RAID configurations and requirements
The ability to work a flexible schedule, with 24x7x365 coverage required, including holidays and weekends
The ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead
