About the Role We're seeking an experienced Data Associate to join our Alexa Data Services team. As a Data Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting the development and improvement of Alexa's natural language understanding capabilities. You'll work with a variety of text, speech, and other types of data to identify and correct errors, and contribute to the creation of high-quality datasets that will help us improve Alexa's performance. Key Responsibilities As a Data Associate, your key responsibilities will include: Working with a range of text, speech, and other types of data to identify and correct errors Conveying high-quality named data, using rules provided to meet our KPIs, and utilizing in-house tools and software Reporting issues with tools and software as and when they occur Showing ownership and drive while providing input to enhancements to existing tooling that can increase the volume and quality of the data we process Maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to all relevant Amazon policies for handling sensitive data About the Team The Alexa Data Services team is a dynamic and collaborative group that's passionate about creating high-quality datasets to support the development and improvement of Alexa's natural language understanding capabilities. We work closely with Amazon AI (ML) Science and modeling teams to provide the critical data they need to further improve Alexa's speech recognition and language understanding capabilities.
