About the Job
The Google Cloud Platform team is dedicated to helping our clients see the benefits of our technology come to life. As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will lead go-to-market strategies and business plays, manage campaigns, and provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions Teams to inform our product roadmap. You will act as a solution manager within the direct enterprise sales organization, guiding C-level executives and their leaders to shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation. Your expertise will help clients improve their productivity and harness the power of our products to make their organizations more efficient, collaborative, and accessible to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain executive relationships with clients as the data analytics subject matter expert, influencing long-term strategic direction
Collaborate with and manage partners in implementation projects
Develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key industries, and focus on building accounts
Help clients identify use cases suitable for Google Cloud Data and Analytics solutions, articulating key solution differentiators and quantifiable business impacts
Work with Google account and technical teams to develop and drive pipeline, provide expertise, and create Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts with Google Cloud Platform partners
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least 3 years of experience in developing research, data warehousing, or data management software
Experience with structuring, pitching, and sending an off-site sales strategy
Experience with business and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams
Experience working with architects and client technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for execution
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
Experience with the data life cycle from data storage, data processing and analysis, data archiving and preservation, and data management/security
Experience with Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Dataproc, Pub/Sub)
Ability to design, pitch, and execute business and customer change strategy aligned to data and analytics
