Disney's Amusement and ESPN Innovation team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join their Preparation and Delivery Activities group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in the execution, streamlining, and normalization of the organization's expense and resource allocation models. As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to internal teams and functional partners, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Support the coordination of high-speed projects that normalize and advance financial cycles across the organization, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
Enable internal business work processes, such as management costing, workforce management, and resource planning, through data analysis and insights.
Work with various data systems and deliver ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and metrics-based issue resolution.
Document work processes connected with key cycles, data collection, and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes.
Collaborate with Data Architects and system architects to support documentation and executions of database plans, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Build strategic dynamic structures and compose scripts that support automation and maximization of business processes.
Refine insights from data and combine and create compelling messaging for leader audiences, driving informed decision-making.
Support Planning and Delivery Activities with impromptu demands from partners, providing timely and accurate support.


Essential Qualifications:


3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data engineering, or technical fields, with a proven track record of success.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Economics, Informatics, or Computer Science.
Experience working with data and data control software, such as R, SQL, Python, and building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, or Smartsheet.
Understanding of social database design and capability, with a strong foundation in data analysis and interpretation.
Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, or AirTable, and ability to work with various data systems and tools.
Proven self-starter with strong vital fitness, discernment, and delivery skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and time usage skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to take a step back and understand the big picture.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to leader audiences.
