Job Overview The successful candidate will be part of our Advanced Analytics team, working closely with our Content group to apply scientific rigor to enhance our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery systems. As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work with large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing customer behavior, identifying untapped customer needs, and uncovering new content opportunities. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytics techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions Analyze customer behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected customer needs and untapped content opportunities Predict content engagement to guide acquisition decisions Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic guidance Provide ad-hoc analytics support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Data Analysis Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques: decision trees, regression, classification, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field A passion for Media and Entertainment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
