Job Overview The Data Analyst will be an integral part of the blithequark Streaming Information and Examination team, working closely with the content group to apply scientific rigor to improve the content portfolio, marketing, and release strategy. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions Analyze customer behavior (e.g., genre preferences, viewing patterns) to identify unmet customer needs and untapped content opportunities Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions Optimize content launch and episode release strategy Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic navigation Provide ad-hoc analytical support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field At least 2 years of experience in Data Analysis Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and/or Python Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning methods: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field A passion for Media and Entertainment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
