The Role: Business Data Analyst
As a Business Data Analyst at Fluz, you'll play a critical role in analyzing large datasets, developing data models, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. You'll work closely with our teams to drive business growth, improve analytics strategy, and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-volume data extraction and work with large datasets to clean, transform, analyze, and visualize data for various analysis activities, including financial, systems, pricing, and user analyses.
Analyze and evaluate Fluz's market trend data to design quantitative and qualitative data models using Python.
Research and develop various data mining models (regression, decision tree, binary classification, etc.) to predict patterns in user behavior and business trends.
Build predictive and prescriptive models to perform statistical analysis and deliver findings; build dashboards and data visualizations and prepare reports for various business functions.
Develop relational database design and write complex queries; design, evaluate, and enhance systems and business processes to improve efficiency and achieve company goals.
Present complex statistical findings into a clear presentation or story summarizing root-cause and actionable insights/recommendations to drive business decisions.
Technical Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong skills in relational database design, data reporting/visualizations, and SQL queries writing.
Excellent ability to conduct systems/quantitative & qualitative data analysis and manage data projects.
Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, Python, VLOOKUPs, charts/graphs, and Power Query.
Knowledge of project management in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
1+ year of experience with SQL.
1+ year of experience with Python.
