Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, Marketing, and Finance, to understand reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions.
Extract, clean, and organize raw data from our e-commerce platform, merchant accounts, marketing initiatives, and other relevant sources.
Design and develop dynamic reports and dashboards in Data Studio or Power BI to provide actionable insights and drive business decisions.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies and optimize operations.
Oversee and instruct 2 Virtual Assistants (VAs) who will assist in filling in the reports you've built, based on a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) you've created.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports, and continuously improve reporting processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed, and explore opportunities for automating reporting through integrations.


Essential Qualifications


Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Proficiency in Data Studio and/or Power BI, with the ability to build reports from scratch and structure data for effective visualization.
Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications


Experience with other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Google Data Studio.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Familiarity with SQL and database management, with the ability to query and manipulate data.
Understanding of e-commerce metrics and KPIs, such as customer acquisition costs, retention rates, and average order value.
Experience with Shopify, Sticky, Ultracart, and other e-commerce platforms.

Day 0: You'll be able to use Google Sheets to visualize data in a way that makes sense for meaningful business intelligence.
3 Months: You'll be able to fully take on data reporting builds and visualizations, working independently to deliver high-quality reports and insights to stakeholders.

Slack for communication and collaboration.
Asana for task management and organization.
Data Studio and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Google Sheets for data analysis and visualization.
Zoom and Loom for virtual meetings and communication.


Compensation, Benefits, and Position Details

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:


Annual Salary Range: $50-70k.
Health insurance benefits available.
Full-time, remote position, with the possibility of part-time work for the right candidate.
