Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our Aetna Medicare Sales and Commissions team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality analytical work, creating insightful reports, and fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data analysis needs, and translate them into actionable visualizations and reports. Design and optimize data models and data systems to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Conduct data analysis, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide valuable insights to drive informed business decisions. Perform data validation and data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of visualizations and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across different systems. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong SQL and database skills , with experience working with large datasets. Expertise in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics . High-level competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.). Excellent written and verbal communication skills , including the ability to effectively communicate with non-technical users. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge: Ability to quickly develop expertise and knowledge of new domains and underlying data sources . Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment . Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning within Tableau Server and reports .
