Key Responsibilities

Working with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and developing predictive models to forecast future outcomes
Developing and maintaining databases and data systems to support data analysis and reporting, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing, and applying this knowledge to improve data analysis and modeling techniques


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, and computer science, with a degree in a related field such as data science, analytics, or computer science
Experience working with large datasets, data analysis, and data modeling, using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and statistical software
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js, and developing reports and dashboards to communicate data insights
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs and priorities


Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

Experience working with machine learning algorithms, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, and deep learning techniques
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark
Experience working with data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark, and developing data pipelines and architectures
Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or C++, and experience working with agile development methodologies
Experience working in a retail or e-commerce environment, with knowledge of business operations and supply chain management
