As a Cyber Security Consultant with Crosslake Technologies, you will be part of a team that values deep understanding, creativity, and the constant pursuit of better. Key Responsibilities


Collaborate with private equity and portfolio company clients to develop and implement an information security vision and strategy aligned with their business objectives.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' information security risks and provide tailored recommendations to address these risks.
Interact with C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CEO, DPO) to understand and drive desired change within client organizations.
Lead and assist in managing enterprise-wide cybersecurity operations teams, processes, and responses.
Assist in managing customer security programs, including achieving and maintaining key compliance initiatives such as SOC, ISO27001, NIST, PCI, and SOX.
Direct and execute the identification, containment, mitigation, and recovery activities related to cybersecurity incidents that may impact client assets or services.
Represent Crosslake Technologies in industry cybersecurity forums and working groups, including sector-specific cyber threat intelligence communities.
Evaluate, implement, and secure key systems within client environments.
Analyze and assess client systems for security/risk exposure and provide business-prioritized remediation recommendations.
Develop, implement, and maintain processes related to strong security and compliance controls in client environments.
Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure security architectures are assessed and supported, and implement new technologies and security solutions in line with industry best practices.


Essential Qualifications and Experience

To excel as a Cyber Security Consultant at Crosslake Technologies, you should have:


A minimum of 15 years of experience in securing organizations as an in-house team member or advisor/consultant in roles such as Chief Information Security Officer, Director/Manager of Information Security, Director/Manager of Compliance, Principal Security Analyst, Principal Security Engineer, or Security Architect.
A demonstrated history of successfully implementing security controls within an organization.
Experience in leading within a fast-paced, complex organization.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI, HIPAA, SOC, SOX, and NIST.
A solid understanding of business management processes, including employing information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies.
Knowledge of application security, cloud security, encryption techniques, identity and access management, mobile security, network security, and virtualization security.


Preferred Qualifications


CISSP or equivalent certification.
