**Experienced Customer Support Specialist III (Intermodal) – Logistics and Transportation Operations**

If you're passionate about logistics, customer service, and teamwork, we invite you to join our dynamic team as an Experienced Customer Support Specialist III (Intermodal). **About the Role** As a Customer Support Specialist III (Intermodal), you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, developing strong relationships with customers and carriers, and driving operational efficiency in our Intermodal operations division. This is an hourly position that requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities** • Verify order readiness for shipments and adjust appointments as necessary to ensure timely delivery • Prioritize loads based on time schedules and customer priorities, minimizing deadhead and optimizing logistics • Utilize various customer applications to schedule shipments and manage logistics operations • Confirm shipment delivery via carrier websites, phone, email, and other communication channels • Create shipments when necessary, adhering to customer and carrier business rules • Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers, shippers, and receivers through professional and timely communications • Collaborate with Operations, customers, and carriers to resolve rating and accessorial information discrepancies • Lead training sessions for Carrier Contacts on the Carrier Portal as needed • Set up new customer and vendor users and locations in the Transportation Management System (TMS), leveraging knowledge of customer business practices • Utilize JIRA to file tickets for identified issues surrounding invoice resolution • Analyze long-term KPIs by account, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions • Identify patterns in shipper, receiver, and carrier performance and propose actions to enhance efficiency and productivity **Essential Qualifications** • High school diploma or GED equivalent • 2-3 years of experience in customer service and/or transportation • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment • Basic math skills and attention to detail **Preferred Qualifications** • Bachelor's degree in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Management • 2-4 years of experience in customer service within the transportation or logistics industry • Working knowledge and utilization of the arenaflex Transportation Management System (TMS) • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Basic math skills and attention to detail **About arenaflex** arenaflex is a logistics platform and partner with a mission to reimagine the way goods move and help communities thrive.
