Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team in a CPC Processer role. This position is remote and operates within a call center environment, requiring a high level of comfort with technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients, insurance companies, and attorneys receive the support they need regarding medical record requests. Your responsibilities will include processing these requests, providing status updates, and documenting information accurately across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities: Process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys, providing them with the medical record status they need. Document information in multiple platforms using two computer monitors, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all interactions. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, to effectively manage and analyze data related to medical record requests. Work comfortably in a high-volume production environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with ease. Participate in comprehensive onsite/virtual training programs and job shadowing with an assigned mentor to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Qualifications To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of essential and preferred qualifications. Essential qualifications include: Experience in customer support, preferably in a healthcare or call center environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and other stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in a related field is preferred. Preferred qualifications include experience with medical records, knowledge of healthcare operations, and any certifications related to customer service or healthcare administration.
