As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be the voice of our company, providing top-notch support to our customers via phone, email, and chat.

As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be part of a dynamic and supportive team that's passionate about making a difference.

**Program Details**

Our program will run from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025, and we're looking for Service Providers (SPs) who can commit and work all 14 weeks of the program. Preference will be given to SPs who can dedicate themselves to this commitment. During this time, you'll have the opportunity to work with our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

* Providing top-notch support to our customers via phone, email, and chat
* Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborating with our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Staying up-to-date on changes to our products and services to provide accurate and informed support
* Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments
* Working well under pressure to meet team productivity goals
* Demonstrating initiative and the ability to multitask
* Adhering to work schedules and being flexible to work extra shifts when needed

**Essential Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

* High school graduate or equivalent
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change well
* Team player attitude and ability to promote a positive work environment
* Collaborative approach to problem-solving and willingness to share feedback
* Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas to customers
* Ability to diffuse situations with angry customers
* Comfortable working in a training environment that includes watching self-paced training module videos
* Ability to research, analyze, and determine an appropriate course of action in a variety of situations
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
* Excellent time management skills and ability to circle back with customers to resolve issues

**Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

* Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts
* Experience providing support in a call center environment
* Comfortable using chat and other communication tools
* Ability to work in a training environment that includes watching self-paced training module videos
* Familiarity with software troubleshooting and ability to modify communication style to meet customer needs and tone

**Operating Hours and Schedule**

Our operating hours are from 8am to midnight EST, Monday to Sunday, with a required minimum of 30 hours per week. During peak periods, we may require additional hours, including:

* April 9th to 15th: 8am-midnight EST/EDT
* April 15th, 2025: 8am-3am EST/EDT
