As our first CS rep, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our customer support system and processes, ensuring that our merchants receive the highest level of service and support. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for communicating with customers, resolving issues, and continuously learning about our app and the broader Shopify ecosystem to provide top-notch support. Key Responsibilities Communicate with customers via live chat or email, resolving issues and providing timely support Continuously learn about our app's features and the Shopify ecosystem to provide expert guidance and support Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest new ways to improve our product Assist with non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, or creating mockups, based on your natural abilities and interests Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely A passion for helping people and resolving issues, with a strong customer-centric approach Ability to handle challenging customers with professionalism and empathy Proficiency in discussing technical concepts at a high level, with a willingness to learn and grow Basic knowledge of CSS and JS, with a willingness to learn more if needed Ability to write technical documentation and articles, with a focus on clarity and accuracy Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and adapt to the needs of a small startup Availability to work with at least a 4-hour overlap with GMT+7 9am-6pm Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following skills and experience would be highly beneficial: Experience working with Shopify, particularly in theme development or customization Experience working with B2B SaaS, with a focus on customer support and success Additional languages, such as French, Spanish, or Italian, to support our global customer base Other skills that can benefit a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, or design Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop professionally.
