You will learn about our products using our tools, provide information to customers, and develop the skills to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department. You will also maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe. Your safety and the safety of others will be your top priority, and you will work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to achieve our goals. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance * Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects * Develop the skills to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department * Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe * Ensure a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty * Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments * Participate in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and achieve sales targets * Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to build a positive and productive work environment **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
