**Experienced Customer Services Representative – Transportation Operations and Customer Experience**

Our six central business units – USC Bookstores, USC Hospitality, USC Housing, USC Transportation, the USC Hotel, and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum – work together to create the best blithequark experience for future leaders, scientists, filmmakers, engineers, and doctors alike. **The Opportunity** As a Customer Services Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the high standards of excellence that blithequark is known for. You will be responsible for: * Providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers, meeting their needs, offering options, resolving problems, and following up with customers * Identifying and prioritizing problems and issues related to service area, performing research, offering solutions, options, and strategies, and referring to appropriate person or department as needed * Training, scheduling, assigning, and prioritizing workloads, interpreting operating policies and procedures, and ensuring timely completion of department's work * Inspecting vehicle gates daily, performing preventive maintenance, and making minor repairs if required * Picking up income at pay stations and parking meters, downloading audit reports, and repairing if required * Meeting with vendors for major repairs, repairing and installing signage throughout university-owned properties, and painting and removing graffiti at parking facilities * Checking gate entrance (kiosks) for water and supplies, providing university village coverage on a daily basis, and assisting with mobile duties * Opening and closing of USC HSC/UPC campus, non-key vehicle entries, vehicle battery assistance, barricade and cone off for special details, and assisting with duties related to all special events **The Qualifiers** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A High School Diploma or equivalent * 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment * Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills * Ability to communicate effectively in English * Presents oneself professionally, in line with higher education environment * Valid CA driver's license required, with participation in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System * A strong commitment to blithequark's Unifying Values of integrity, excellence, diversity, equity, and inclusion, well-being, open communication, and accountability **Other Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills * Ability to communicate professionally and work in a team environment * Good analytical skills and a willingness to take initiatives * Hands-on experience in technology **What We Prefer** If you have: * A Bachelor's Degree * 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment * Ability to oversee student, temporary, and/or resource workers **The Trojan Family Rewards** As a member of the blithequark team, you will enjoy a wide variety of benefits and programs that support your well-being and career growth.
