As a force for good, we're proud to be part of the Delta Dental Plans Association, which provides coverage to over 83 million Americans and operates two of the nation's largest networks of participating dentists. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll perform a range of tasks in a developing and learning capacity, including: * Researching inquiries by accessing the claims processing system and other informational sources * Responding to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication (such as mail) using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, etc. * Maintaining related departmental records and files * Operating office equipment, including a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, etc. * Making corrections to claims and eligibility * Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into the mainframe * Reviewing subscriber's coverage to determine type and level of benefits **Essential Qualifications** To succeed as a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience * Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at blithequark or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position) * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including the first or second shift, Monday through Friday **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, we welcome candidates with: * Experience working in a remote or virtual environment * Familiarity with dental benefits or insurance industry * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment **Skills and Competencies** To excel as a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong research and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Customer Service Trainee at blithequark, you'll have access to: * Comprehensive training program with on-site and remote learning experiences * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Competitive compensation and benefits package * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Work Environment and Company Culture** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
