Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team in Florida. As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you'll provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy.You'll be responsible for the overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, which includes verifying and revivifying benefits. You'll also help our patients with translating and entering in new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues.Key Responsibilities * Provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy over the phone * Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits * Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system * Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients * Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers * Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues * Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners * Ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and meet financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment Essential Qualifications * One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, bolthires Office, internet navigation, and email applications * One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude * Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications * Preceding healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Skills and Competencies * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in Windows-based applications like Windows, bolthires Office, internet navigation, and email applications * Strong computer keyboarding skills and aptitudeCareer Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.We offer a range of training and development programs, including: * On-the-job training and coaching * Online training and development courses * Mentorship programs * Opportunities for advancement and career growth Work Environment and Company CultureOur work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
