Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to clients' customers via inbound calls, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Work independently to manage your schedule, ensuring that you are available to take calls during your designated shift Utilize computer systems and software to access customer information, resolve issues, and complete tasks Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when completing tasks and responding to customer inquiries Participate in online certification programs to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service Adhere to blithequark's policies and procedures, as well as those of our clients, to ensure that you are providing the highest level of service Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of customer service experience, preferably in a telephone-based or call center environment. You will also need to have the ability to type 40 words per minute or higher, with an emphasis on accuracy. In addition, you will need to have moderate proficiency in computer operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as the ability to complete online certification programs with minimal assistance. Other essential qualifications and requirements include: Pleasant, enthusiastic phone presence with attention to intonation, diction, and inflection Ability to read scripting provided by clients verbatim Previous experience working in a remote atmosphere is preferred but not required Ability to successfully clear a criminal background check Technical Requirements To work as an Independent Contractor with blithequark, you will need to have access to a Windows-based PC with anti-malware security software. Mac/Apple systems and Chromebooks are not compatible with our platforms and programs. You will also need to have a minimum of 2 GB RAM, a CPU (Intel or AMD) 2GHz processor (or equivalent), and a resolution of 1,280 x 720 (720p) or greater. In addition, you will need to have a reliable internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 10Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download. Cable, DSL, and FiOS connections are acceptable, but satellite, dial-up, Wi-Fi, and wireless connections are not. You will also need to use Chrome as your internet browser, as it is the only acceptable browser at this time.
