Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service to passengers, handling ticketing and baggage check-in, and ensuring that flights depart on time. As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you will be the face of Delta Airlines, and your excellent communication and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving customer complaints and concerns. This is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, with a competitive salary of $27 per hour. Key Responsibilities Welcoming passengers and providing them with information and assistance as needed Handling ticketing and baggage check-in, including checking travel documents and ensuring that passengers have the necessary paperwork Assisting passengers with boarding and deplaning, including accompanying unaccompanied minors and passengers with disabilities Working with the flight crew to ensure that flights depart on time and that all safety procedures are followed Providing excellent customer service, including resolving customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner Working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree and excellent communication and customer service skills. You should be able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Additionally, you should be proficient in using computers and have basic digital literacy skills.
