As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our clients to resolve their issues and provide them with the information they need. Key Responsibilities Respond to Inbound Calls: Answer inbound calls from clients regarding benefit eligibility questions, prescription status, and other healthcare-related inquiries. Provide Personalized Support: Guide and inform clients on their prescription benefits, plan usage, formulary, fees, and status of orders and claims. Document Client Information: Listen attentively to client concerns, document required information in computer systems, and respond to client inquiries. Resolve Issues: Identify and resolve client issues, correspond with clients, pharmacies, and physicians regarding prescription orders and reorders. Make Outgoing Calls: Make outbound calls to clients regarding prescription orders and remittance concerns. Navigate Multiple Data Banks: Research facility concerns related to member prescriptions and pharmacy benefits across multiple data banks, requiring strong computer navigation skills and the ability to engage with clients compassionately. Essential Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED or higher) or equivalent work experience. Customer Service Experience: At least 1 year of customer service experience, including providing service over the phone. Computer Skills: Proficiency with Windows PC applications, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and the ability to navigate and learn new computer systems. Flexibility: Ability to work any 8-hour shift during our typical business hours of 5:00 am - 10:00 pm local time, Sunday - Sunday. Preferred Qualifications Contact Center Experience: Previous experience working in a contact center environment. Client Service Experience: Additional experience in client service, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting. Digital Literacy: Familiarity with digital systems and platforms, including online chat, email, and other digital communication tools. Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare terminology, medical plan records, or benefit program design. Skills and Competencies Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients in a compassionate and professional manner. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet productivity and quality standards. Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
