Position Overview: Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our organization, providing top-notch support to our customers and clients. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with customers via inbound phone calls, emails, live chats, and other channels as needed. Meet and exceed daily quotas for inbound and outbound interactions, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer inquiries. Record detailed notes of customer interactions to maintain accurate records and identify trends for escalation. Maintain real-time communication by keeping inventory volumes current and up-to-date. Create life-long customers by responding to their inquiries in a creative, personal, comprehensive, and consistent manner, demonstrating their value to our organization. Uphold the high standards of professionalism and customer service expected by our clients, responding efficiently and courteously in a timely and friendly manner. De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, turning negative experiences into positive outcomes. Collaborate with fellow Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Managers to provide the best possible experience for our customers. Operate effectively in a remote work environment, utilizing proficient computer skills and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment, staying flexible and responsive to the needs of our customers and clients. Work a customer service schedule based on high-volume days and times in the restaurant/hospitality industry, with a start time of 2 PM or 5 PM EST on weekends. Essential Skills and Abilities To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and abilities: A clear and articulate telephone voice without major background noise or distractions. The ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workloads effectively. Self-motivation with strong communication skills, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Reliability and consistency in delivering excellent work performance. Experience with multi-line phone systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, cloud-based platforms such as Salesforce, data entry, and word processing. An upbeat and positive attitude, with the ability to maintain the reputation of blithequark and our clients. Adaptability and flexibility in a rapidly expanding dynamic organization. Qualifications, Education, and Experience To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in a customer service capacity, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. A High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age. Own a computer or laptop with a keyboard and mouse (iPads, Chromebooks, and mobile devices are not allowed). Be an independent self-starter with excellent time management skills. Physical Requirements This role requires: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and telephone.
