**Responsibilities and Scope**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Physician Practice, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and clerical tasks, including:

• **Patient Registration and Financial Obligation**: Obtain all critical demographic and financial information, accurately input data into Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system and other applications as needed, and obtain and/or verify documentation as required, including Consent for Treatment, Assignment of Benefits and Financial Responsibility, and Notice of Privacy Practices.
• **Communication and Call Handling**: Answer and relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls, delivering routine/scripted instructions in preparation for patient's visit to the office.
• **Clerical Support Functions**: Provide general clerical support functions to ensure efficient utilization of time, including scheduling meetings, patients, and appointments, maintaining calendars, and coordinating with other clinical services.
• **Cash Handling and Deposits**: Collect and count cash receipts and daily deposits, ensuring balanced cash drawer daily.
• **Housekeeping and Maintenance**: Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the clinic, performing housekeeping duties of assigned area by routine and periodic cleaning.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

**Required**

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Driver's license and access to transportation

**Preferred**

• Medical clerical experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, nursing home, or insurance agency
