Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) business unit. This full-time position offers a unique blend of customer service excellence and healthcare industry knowledge. You'll be the voice of arenaflex to millions of plan members, helping them navigate the complexities of their prescription insurance and medication coverage.

Through your excellent communication skills and genuine desire to help, you will simplify the healthcare experience for our members. You'll answer questions about prescription insurance, explain medication coverage details, guide members through mail order prescription processes, and offer solutions that make managing their health simpler and more affordable.

Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our Customer Care team, you will be responsible for:


Member Support: Respond to incoming calls from plan members with empathy, patience, and professionalism. Address their questions and concerns regarding pharmacy benefit plans, prescription coverage, and medication options.
Insurance Navigation: Explain complex insurance information in clear, understandable terms. Help members understand their coverage, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket expenses.
Prescription Assistance: Guide members through the mail order prescription process, ensuring they understand how to fill their medications conveniently and cost-effectively.
Problem Resolution: Utilize your problem-solving skills to address member issues, escalate complex cases when necessary, and follow through to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of our pharmacy benefit plans, insurance policies, and healthcare industry practices to provide accurate information.
Documentation: Accurately document all customer interactions in our computer systems to maintain comprehensive member records.
Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and governmental compliance requirements throughout all interactions, protecting member privacy and sensitive information.
Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training programs to expand your healthcare knowledge and stay current with industry changes.


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications


Minimum one year of experience interacting with customers in a professional environment such as call center, retail, customer service, hospitality, or military experience
Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications and basic technical skills
Must reside within 75 miles of Las Vegas, NV
Must be available to complete on-site training program
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High school diploma or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications


Associate's degree or equivalent post-secondary education
Previous experience in healthcare or insurance customer service
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
Ability to relate to customers in a patient, helpful manner that demonstrates genuine concern for improving their quality of life
Proven reliability and commitment to scheduling compliance
Ability to exhibit patience and empathy while expressing assurance and confidence
Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professional demeanor

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

This is a full-time position with varying schedules. Days off and hours may vary based on business needs, and scheduled start times will rotate to support our 24/7 operations. Our site hours are 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM local time, providing coverage for our members throughout the day.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this position is $17.00 - $27.90 per hour. The actual base pay offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
