Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at Sycamore Life Sciences, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly lead generation, follow-up, and sales goals
Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online chat, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
Processing orders, handling complaints, and managing shipments, cancellations, and other customer queries
Maintaining strict customer standards and confidentiality
Working closely with customers to understand their needs, creating solutions, and ensuring a smooth sales process
Collaborating with vendors to ensure ordered products are in stock, lead times are acceptable, and tracking information is provided promptly
Keeping accurate records of customer interactions, contacts, and account updates in our Hubspot CRM system
Conducting cost-benefit and needs analysis to meet customer requirements
Working hand-in-hand with the sales team to create and review quotes, ensuring products meet customer needs and company margin expectations
Preparing and submitting weekly sales reports to management
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related Life Sciences discipline
Experience in Genomics Research, Cell Biology Research, Proteomics, or Analytical Chemistry (a significant advantage)
At least 2 years of experience in eCommerce, call center, or technical support (preferred)
2 years of experience in a professional working environment
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage your time effectively
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
