This role is the primary inside contact for our customers, responsible for taking ownership of fulfillment activities, recommending standard products, handling pricing and information-related complaints, and proactively interacting with various departments to provide quick responses. Scope of Responsibilities and Essential Functions The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax, documenting interactions in Salesforce, and recommending, quoting, sampling, and selling VBS products. Additionally, this role will involve documenting opportunities where VBS products do not meet customer requirements, validating the pursuit of custom constructions, and transferring customers to the technical community for further discussion. Respond to customer inquiries and document interactions in Salesforce Recommend, quote, sample, and sell VBS products Document opportunities where VBS products do not meet customer requirements and validate custom constructions Enter new orders, verify accuracy, and process order changes and cancellations Monitor open work orders, expedite as needed, and proactively notify customers of late or problem orders Resolve customer-specific freight and logistics issues and information-related complaints Proactively engage assigned accounts to better understand business applications and uncover missed opportunities Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience, with 1-3 years of previous customer service experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment and using an ERP system is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly and work under pressure.
