About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the frontline representative for our clients, including major companies like Computershare and Georgeson. Your primary responsibility will be to handle inbound, outbound, and email communications with shareholders during contested proxy meetings. These meetings are critical events where shareholders are presented with conflicting information from different parties vying for their votes. In this role, you will be required to: Respond to shareholder inquiries via phone, email, and other channels, providing accurate and timely information. Address concerns and objections from shareholders, directing them to the appropriate resources and information. Promote the client's message, ensuring that shareholders understand the company's position and the actions they need to take. Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, even in challenging or confrontational situations. Participate in training and ongoing coaching to ensure that you have the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role. Key Skills and Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED. At least 6 months of experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. A good speaking voice and the ability to read and correct grammar/English speaking. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Equipment and Technical Requirements To work effectively in this fully remote role, you will need to have the following equipment and technical capabilities: A MacBook or Windows (10 or 11) computer with a current operating system. A USB headset (no wireless headsets). Dual monitors are beneficial but not required. Internet Speed: 50 download/10 upload. The ability to participate fully in virtual meetings and training sessions, including being able to unmute when called upon and participate in chat when asked to complete a task.
