Job Overview
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team on a part-time basis. As a CVS Virtual Remote team member, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch phone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug treatments. This role offers a competitive salary of $26/hour and the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and handle new patient prescription orders and reorders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Verify and refresh benefits, communicate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns.
Assist patients with interpreting and entering new or reorder prescriptions into our pharmacy data system.
Collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and facilitate communication between patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
Monitor, identify, resolve, and adjudicate orders with financial or clinical issues, ensuring seamless processing and patient satisfaction.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, empathizing with patients and internal partners to meet financial and clinical expectations.


Essential Qualifications

One year of experience in a client support role, handling and resolving complex customer needs via telephone.
One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web browsers, and email applications.
One year of PC keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and fitness.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.


Preferred Qualifications

Six months of experience resolving complex customer needs via telephone.
Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
