Key Responsibilities In this critical role, your key responsibilities will include: Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs. Providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for callers, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. Meeting performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, ensuring that you consistently deliver high-quality support to our members and providers. Communicating effectively with members and providers both orally and in written form, using clear and concise language to resolve issues and address concerns. Maintaining high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via ethernet cable, ensuring that you can work efficiently and effectively from home. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent GED, demonstrating your commitment to education and personal development. The ability to communicate effectively with members and providers orally and in written form, using strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals, demonstrating your reliability and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service. The ability to work from home and prove to be self-sufficient, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and achieve your goals. The ability to commute to the office in Charleston, WV when unable to work from home due to prolonged technical problems, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with working remotely in a call center setting, demonstrating your ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Medicaid and Medicare, providing you with a deeper understanding of the healthcare industry and the needs of our members.
