As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
* Handling requests to plan shipments, including associated documentation and logistics coordination
* Working closely with carriers, airlines, and other transportation providers to ensure seamless shipment execution
* Consolidating and breaking-bulk shipments as required
* Documenting and updating customer records based on interactions and shipment status
* Providing exceptional customer service to clients for active shipments, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient data entry and record-keeping
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and shipment status
* Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable internet connection and an alternate backup in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster
* Dual monitors preferred, but not essential
* Availability to work 6a-3p PST Monday - Friday
* Previous experience in customer service, call center environment, or other related fields
* Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service
* Ability to prioritize and multitask, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment
* Positive and professional demeanor, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
* Typing test will be required to assess your data entry skills and accuracy
