Job Summary
The Customer Advocate I role at arenaflex is an excellent chance for customer-focused individuals to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's mission. As a Customer Advocate I, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support and education to individual customers, including those under 65 and over 65, on enrollment, membership, benefits, and claims information. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including members, providers, agents, and billing services, to deliver exceptional customer service and promote arenaflex's products.

Key Responsibilities

Answer high-volume calls from members, providers, agents, and billing services, ensuring timely, accurate, and courteous responses to inquiries and questions.
Establish a solid working relationship with all groups by working directly with contacts as needed to resolve issues.
Comply with retail dress and appearance standards while working retail hours as described by management.
Consult with prospects on individual product options and determine appropriate coverage options based on coverage needs and financial status.
Assist customers with completing applications necessary to apply for coverage and promote all products sold by arenaflex.
Establish premium payment arrangements for members and accept and process premium payments.
Provide comprehensive enrollment, membership, benefits, and claims information for both group and individual products, depending on the marketing area.
Stay informed of all changes in benefits, regulations, and guidelines, and provide support to retail sales representatives.


Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred Arkansas Health and Life Insurance License. If you do not have a license, you must be willing to obtain one within three months of being assigned coursework. Additionally, an Exchange producer license and CMS certification for senior products are desirable.
In terms of experience, we are looking for individuals with a minimum of three years of customer service or sales administration experience, preferably in the insurance industry, health insurance agency, or provider's office. You should be an exceptional communicator, both orally and in writing, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
