Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our call center team in Clearwater, FL. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients, answering inquiries, and processing requests in a timely and efficient manner. You will utilize your knowledge of insurance policies, laws, and internal procedures to resolve customer issues and provide accurate information. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming Medicare Supplement calls in accordance with quality standards to provide information to agents and insured individuals about policy status or other related questions. Place outgoing calls to provide or obtain information, and document all calls using our online documentation program. Transfer or refer misdirected calls to the appropriate individual, department, or office, using approved transfer and referral techniques. Process customer requests using internal and client-mandated procedures, and produce correspondence to customers using approved letters. Efficiently process bank changes, cancelations, death notifications, address changes, and ID card requests. Communicate openly with supervisors and team members to ensure accurate responses and avoid duplication of efforts. Primary Skills and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Insurance background preferred, but not required. Up to 2 years of proven customer support experience, with strong phone contact handling skills and active listening abilities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and excellent communication and documentation skills. The ability to adapt and respond to different types of people and tasks, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and efficiently. Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable.
