Job Description As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company and the first point of contact for many of our customers. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with families, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the success of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include: Creating relationships with new and existing families to promote customer loyalty and retention Demonstrating empathy and understanding in your interactions with families Registering, scheduling, and processing payments for swim lessons and other services Providing exceptional customer service in person and over the phone Encouraging customers to purchase swim lesson packages and promoting our services Working effectively in a team environment to support the achievement of lesson registration goals Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings and handling customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner Recommending additional services to customers based on their needs and preferences Maintaining a clean and safe facility at all times Boosting morale and contributing to a positive work environment Restocking and cleaning restrooms and shower/changing areas as needed Staying up to date on our programs and services and providing effective rebuttals to customers who are looking to cancel their lessons Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: At least 2 years of customer service experience A high school diploma or equivalent A strong passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service Proficiency in typing (at least 40 WPM) Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Strong communication skills in person and over the phone Ability to actively listen and respond to different types of personalities Professional and courteous demeanor at all times Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment Knowledge of swim lessons or aquatic programs Experience working with children and families Bilingual or multilingual skills Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone with customers, colleagues, and management Customer service skills : Ability to provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner Problem-solving skills : Ability to think critically and resolve customer complaints and concerns Time management skills : Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Teamwork skills : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the success of the team Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
