About the Role As a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you will be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting callers, establishing the reason for their call, and resolving issues by dispatching to the appropriate contacts. You will act as a human answering service outside or during business hours for a variety of businesses, including doctor's offices, hospitals, and other medical fields. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will enable you to provide top-notch service to our clients and their customers. Key Responsibilities Act as a human answering service outside or during business hours for a variety of businesses, including doctor's offices, hospitals, and other medical fields. Emergency dispatching to ensure timely and effective response to critical situations. Greet customers warmly via phone, email, or chat, providing a positive first impression and setting the tone for a successful interaction. Monitor alarm systems to ensure prompt attention to potential issues. Order entry and management to facilitate seamless transactions. Take messages by asking questions according to client's specifications, ensuring accurate and detailed information. Transfer calls via computer system based on instructions provided by clients, ensuring efficient call routing and resolution. Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for several different industries, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Qualifications and Skills To succeed as a Customer Service Agent at blithequark, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Basic computer proficiency, including web-based applications and keyboard functions. Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely. Experience on the Amtelco platform is a plus, but not required. Flexible personality, able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Genuinely friendly and compassionate, with a strong emphasis on empathy and customer satisfaction. High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in customer service principles. Ability to work 1 weekend day, with flexibility to accommodate varying schedules. Pays high attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all interactions. Telephone Answering Service/Customer Service experience is a plus, but not required. Typing speed of 25 WPM, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and systems. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications can enhance your candidacy and success in this role: Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service. Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems, such as medical or legal applications.
