You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless communication, accurate data entry, and efficient resolution of customer inquiries. This is a temporary opportunity for up to 1 year, with a competitive hourly rate of $24. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, or in-person, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner * Process transactions, including accepting payments, entering data, and reconciling payments * Prepare invoices for customers and review/reconcile payments, post invoices, cash receipts, and deposit receivables * Enter, research, and retrieve data regarding customer and commercial accounts * Serve as a back-up for various accounting and administrative functions, including data entry, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks * Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures * Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of customer inquiries **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED required * Minimum of one-year experience directly related to customer service in a call center environment * Previous accounting or bookkeeping work is desirable * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members * Ability to work under pressure, with frequent interruptions, and maintain accuracy in mathematical computations * Proficiency in MS Office and various accounting software * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, accounting, or finance) * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software * Knowledge of general accounting functions and reporting systems * Certification in accounting or bookkeeping (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in mathematical computations * Proficiency in MS Office and various accounting software * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and files **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our team members' growth and development.
