Job Summary In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, handling merchandise, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Your duties will include gathering, uploading, and renewing products, ensuring smooth and safe transportation of merchandise, and helping customers with loading merchandise into their cars. You will also be responsible for replenishing shelves, maintaining store appearance, and performing other tasks as required. Key Responsibilities Provide professional and engaging customer service to ensure customers feel valued and satisfied Gather, upload, and renew products to ensure that customers have access to the products they need Ensure smooth and safe transportation of merchandise for everyone Help customers with loading merchandise into their cars and replenish shelves for the next customers Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to safety measures and protocols Perform other tasks as required, including maintaining store appearance and assisting with inventory management Travel Requirements While this position does not require regular travel, there may be instances where traveling is necessary for attending meetings, training sessions, or to support neighboring stores. You must be flexible and willing to travel as required, with prior notice and approval from management. Work Schedule and Requirements As a Customer Service Loader at arenaflex, you must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, any day of the week. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stand, sit, or perform other physical tasks for prolonged periods. The ability to carry 25 pounds by oneself is required, but you may be required to lift more than that, with or without assistance. Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You must also be adaptable and willing to evolve your strategies as circumstances change. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to input, access, modify, and output information using retail technology devices, including smartphones and tablets Ability to comply with legal requirements for sales-related licenses or registrations Preferred Qualifications 6 months of experience working in a hardware or home improvement store, with a strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and practices Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment 6 months of experience in retail merchandising, with proficiency in performing tasks such as Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping Experience inspecting, transferring, loading, and unloading goods or elements into or out of transportation modes Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
