Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at blithequark. As a work leader for our customer service units, you will be responsible for assisting with escalated and complex issues, providing guidance and support to our customer service representatives, and ensuring that our department operates efficiently and effectively. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a typical office environment. You will be required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shifts scheduled during the hours of 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, and you will undergo comprehensive training for 6-8 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Coordinator at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Serving as an information source for both internal and external customers, answering complex customer service inquiries via telephone, email, and/or web inquiries Ensuring efficient departmental operation by assisting management in planning, coordination, and/or assignment of work Assisting with the development and direction of staff to achieve and maintain optimum levels of performance Maintaining basic knowledge of quality work instructions and company policies Providing guidance and support to customer service representatives to resolve complex issues and improve overall customer satisfaction Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer issues Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance customer experience and team efficiency Qualifications To qualify for this position, you will need: An associate's degree, or equivalent experience (2 years of job-related work experience, 1 year of customer service or claims processing experience, or a bachelor's degree in lieu of work experience) Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations and provide exceptional customer service Proficient spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic business math skills Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems We prefer that you have: A bachelor's degree 2 years of claims processing or call center experience Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of success in team management and development Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and other stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and improve processes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development, and we offer a range of training and development programs to help you build your skills and advance your career.
