About the Role: Customer Service Benefit Advocate Night Shift We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Customer Service Benefit Advocate to join our team on a night shift basis. As a Customer Service Benefit Advocate, you will play a critical role in responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing guidance on healthcare benefits. This is a full-time remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve customer service inquiries and issues on the first call, identifying the topic and type of assistance the caller needs, such as benefits, eligibility, and claims, financial spending accounts, and correspondence. Guide and educate customers about the fundamentals and benefits of consumer-driven health care topics, helping them select the best benefit plan options, maximize the value of their health plan benefits, and choose a quality care provider. Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance. Assist customers in navigating blithequark websites and encourage and reassure them to become self-sufficient. Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience. Must be 18 years of age OR older. Minimum of 6+ months of customer service experience. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Health Care / Insurance environment (familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, OR benefit plan design). Social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change (working with vulnerable populations). Telecommuting Requirements: To work remotely with blithequark, you will need to meet the following requirements: Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable). Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive a blithequark-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to blithequark's Telecommuter Policy. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive hourly range of $16.88 to $33.22 per hour, based on full-time employment.
