As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the face of blithequark, interacting with customers, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues they may have. Your primary goal will be to provide a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience, ensuring that every customer leaves the store satisfied and eager to return. Key Responsibilities Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their queries, and resolve any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner. Processing Transactions: Operate a sales register, process transactions accurately, and handle customer payments, returns, and exchanges. Maintaining Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing, including the checkout area, shelves, and displays. Providing Product Recommendations: Suggest products to customers based on their needs and preferences, and promote sales through effective merchandising and promotional activities. Supporting Store Operations: Participate in stock management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Working in the Photo Department: Assist customers with photo-related services, including printing photos, creating personalized gifts, and operating photo processing equipment. Fulfilling Online Orders: Pick and pack online orders, and ensure timely delivery to customers. Maintaining Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to controlled substances, customer data protection, and workplace safety. Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a sales register. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Prior experience working at blithequark or a similar retail pharmacy chain. Knowledge of store systems and equipment, including sales registers and inventory management software.
